A small rant about religions in general.

I'm a strong, and proud, atheist. In fact, I HATE religion. It's a cancerous life form leeching off of society. It stops humanity from developing which, in many ways, is against what 'God' would want. He put us here to effectively show what we are capable of, we're like rats in a cage being scrutinised by children in a classroom, we need to progress not be held back by religion.

Concerning modern day religion..

Those people in power that gave us the religions of today, did it as a means to keep their subjects in line. Islam, Christianity, Judaism, hinduism, all designed to manipulate primitive people into serving their rulers. Our ancestors bought it hook line and sinker, in turn passing it on from generation to generation. Religion was a lie in the beginning, now it's a social disease.
